Blackheads are a skin conditions characterized by a specific type of dark acne lesion which contain oxidized melanin, a pigment made by the melanocytes-skin cells. Blackheads are common in both women and men. Some can be easily removed whereas others not. Nowadays, there is an abundance of products offered on the market for treatment of this problem. However, the main problem with them is that they’re not easily affordable and, what’s more, they are filled with synthetic chemicals which can irritate the skin, especially if the skin is sensitive.
Luckily, there are several natural methods for a safe and easily affordable removal of blackheads. The recipe is easily prepared and without side effects. Let’s take a look:
2 tbsp of mint toothpaste
A tbsp of alt
2 to 3 ice cubes
Preparation: Put the salt and toothpaste in a plastic bowl and mix them until you get a homogenous mixture. Afterwards, clean your face and then apply from the mixture onto the affected areas by rubbing it in gently. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Next, rinse the face with clean water. At the end, rub the areas with an ice cube so that the pores close. Then, tap dry with a clean towel and apply a natural moisturizer, like coconut oil.
Important to note: If you notice redness in the area of the skin where you applied the mixture, don’t worry, this is a normal reaction and it will soon disappear.
