For many years, parsley is a great herb which is used in meals as a spice. But, our body can’t derive all its benefits, because we usually use parsley in small amounts. The roots and leaves have numerous medicinal properties.
Parsley a small plant with dark-green leaves that look like coriander leaves, particularly in the flat-leaf variety. But, its leaves are milder in flavor and larger by size than the coriander leaves. Parsley is widely employed in East European, American, and Mediterranean cuisine.
This amazing spice has various important properties for treatment of urinary tract infections, kidney diseases, and many other ailments. A recipe for making parsley tea has been invented by an old Bosnian woman. This old lady had 72 kg when she measured herself (on Thursday). Then, she started taking parsley tea and when she measured herself again (on Saturday), she realized that she had lost 5kg! She says that the fat was excreted from the body in a form of waste water.
So, here is these really simple and effective recipe that she used to prepare:
- 5 tbsp. parsley
- 1 liter of water
Preparation of the tea:
Boil some water and put the parsley in it. Let it soak for about 15-20 minutes. Then, filter themixture to remove the parsley leaves and your tea is ready. Add some honey to improve the taste.
The excess water from the body is disposed by our kidneys. That water contains harmful substances as dangerous bacteria, toxins, and dead cells. Parsley is a great antioxidant with important diuretic properties, which makes it an essential part in the excretion process.
Note: Consume the parsley tea in moderate amounts. Do not drink more than 1000 ml per day.
